At present, the twelve major mining areas of Pakistan with over 800 mines result in almost 4 million tons of coal being mined annually. All the mined coal from various location requires some kind of beneficiation/value addition before it is suitable to be used for industrial requirements.

This coal beneficiation plant has annual plant capacity of 1,188,000 MT, hence safely concluded that abundant local coal supplies can fully facilitate plant’s raw material needs.

To ensure its raw material supplies, the Company has already signed MoUs with Key players of mining industry. Ensuring a smooth procurement chain, the Company has signed MoU’s with key players of mining industry out of which a few notable names are:

•Marhaba Coal Company


To adhere to the strategy of securing its end-to-end supply chain and to shelter its revenues, the Company is in process of signing MoUs with major cement manufacturers including:

•Cherat Cement Limited
•D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited
•Fauji Cement Company Limited
•Lafarge Pakistan Cement Limited
•Attock Cement Pakistan Limited


Plant’s strategic location makes this project one of the most attractive and financially stable projects as coal mines (raw material) and end users (cement, steel industries) are located within modest distance of plant site, hence reducing haulage cost to large extent.
